One down.....

First sock completed. Changing to addis's really helped sliding the stitches back and forth. I loved doing these on 2 circs. It was so much easier on my hands than the double points. I'll cast on the 2nd sock tomorrow. I'm very happy with them, although I have some changes for the next pair I make. I added an inch after the ribbing which, I really didn't need. I almost ran out of yarn because of it and I had to increase rapidly at the toe in order to have enough yarn. If I knit socks with koigu again, I'll have to buy three skeins. Me and my big feet are too much for 2 skeins.

Nice socks. I've never tried knitting socks with circs. I guess I'm a throwback, I don't mind the dpns at all. I have two skeins of Koigu that I'd planned to make socks in when I bought it, but now I think I will do something else with it. I wear a women's US 10, so I doubt if they would make sockies for me either, without needing a third skein of Koigu.

lovely sock. i found koigu to have the least yardage out of all the various sock yarns i've tried. i tend to do 'footlets' out of one skein of any sock yarn, and koigu was the only one that ever had me worried about whether there'd be enough yarn.

Wanda, I wear a size 10 as well. 2 skeins is definitely not enough.

Beautiful footie! I prefer the 2 crics method to dpn's too. Although I have yet to actually knit a whole sock :) My sis has size 10.5 feet, so I will have to be careful to watch yardage should I ever knit her socks!!
